During this week’s morning worship service we will participate in a time of preparing our hearts and minds as we begin the journey to Easter by first entering into Lent--a season of reflection, re-orienting ourselves to the cross and letting go of things that are getting in the way of our desire to fully live the ways of Christ. 

As we prepare for Sunday, we are invited to pray the words of Psalm 51: Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.

We hope that you will join us for our AGM this Sunday.  Following our morning worship service we will enjoy a pizza lunch together. Our AGM will begin at 12:30.  Childcare is available.

Our Refreshment Team is welcoming new members.  If you enjoy serving others, please consider joining this team.  This involves preparing coffee and refreshments on Sunday mornings, greeting people during our refreshment time and cleaning up.

If you are new or “newish” to The Gathering, please join Vision and Care and the pastoral team for a time of welcome and introduction to the mission and vision of the church, at a luncheon on Sunday March 30^th following the worship service at CMCC. This is a time to ask questions you might have, discover more about the life of the church and to get to know leadership and staff.

Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp's 41st Annual Bowlathon is happening again this year on April 5th! This is one of the camp’s main annual fundraising events with last year’s Bowlathon raising over $30,000! You can show your support by sponsoring The Pot Family or donating on-line at www.hiddenacres.ca/donate, and select “Annual Bowlathon” from the list. Thank you!

Our Vision and Care team members serve the church through offering prayer, care and wise leadership around our vision.  The Vision and Care team members are:  Marlene Hoekstra, Frank Hoekstra, Gloria Lebold, Clare Lebold, Doris Maiolo, and Alisha Nafziger.

The Leadership Board brings prayerful leadership to our faith community, meeting monthly to ensure we fulfill our mission and vision and faithfully oversee the many areas of ministry of The Gathering.  The members of the Board are:  Wazir Ally, Andrew Jantzi, Debbie Wagler and Craig Nafziger.
