Christ's vision that the church would be one in unity is heard in His prayer for the church found in John 17. In Acts, Jesus gives the church a huge mandate to share the good news with the whole world.
These are the meta level dreams and the vision of all people and church families of the Christ way.
How we envision those dreams and visions being realized in OUR corner of the mission field is where the local church finds its essential participation in the work of dreaming. Within the big broad mission and mandate of Jesus to the church; where do we feel called to focus our gifts, passion, and attention?
