Join us this Sunday as we continue our series "Caring for Our Souls". This week Chris Pot will share about how running has become a way for him to care for his soul and he'll invite us to consider how the things we are already doing in our lives can be a way for us to care for our souls.

Hello Gathering Church and Friends of The Gathering

On Sunday January 26^th, we will join to celebrate the 20 years of ministry of The Gathering Church. There is MUCH to celebrate. God’s faithful calling and leading to plant the church.  Lives changed and encouraged through God’s love and gifts of transformation. The many deep and caring relationships formed. Giving and receiving in the Chandler Mowat community. Sharing the joys and sorrows of life. The presence of the Holy Spirit as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our youth growing in faith and relationships. Our children developing their faith and sharing memory verses and songs with us. The City of Kitchener welcoming and supporting our ministries. Joining together in songs of praise, with voices of hope. And so much more.

I hope that you will join us on Sunday January 26^th for a time of worship, reflection and celebration of God’s goodness, followed by a luncheon.

We’ll meet for worship at 10:30 and then begin our luncheon at noon.

Our Vision and Care team members serve the church through offering prayer, care and wise leadership around our vision.  The Vision and Care team members are:  Marlene Hoekstra, Frank Hoekstra, Gloria Lebold, Clare Lebold, Doris Maiolo, and Alisha Nafziger.

The Leadership Board brings prayerful leadership to our faith community, meeting monthly to ensure we fulfill our mission and vision and faithfully oversee the many areas of ministry of The Gathering.  The members of the Board are:  Wazir Ally, Andrew Jantzi, Rocco Maiolo, Debbie Wagler and Craig Nafziger.
